 The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with Pink Pakistan Trust, Karachi, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting breast cancer awareness and women’s health in Pakistan. The British Council Pakistan announced the third cohort of Scholarships for Women in STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths). Over 100 scholarships are available to women STEM scholars from Asia and the Americas to pursue a masters’ degree in the UK, out of which 48 scholarships are reserved for women STEM scholars from Pakistan and other South Asian countries, awarded on a merit basis with no country-specific cap. National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE), Higher Education Commission (HEC) has launched the third cohort of National Faculty Development Programne (NDFP) for newly inducted faculty members of higher education institutions (HEIs) at HEC Regional Centre Lahore. Twenty-three faculty members from public sector HEIs of Pakistan are attending the programme. NAHE has been organizing NFDP since 2020 for the Interim Placement of Fresh PhDs (IPFP) applicants in online mode.
