With fervent devotion and unity, nearly three million faithful pilgrims have gathered in Maidan-e-Arafat, resounding with the sacred chant of “Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik.” This momentous gathering marks the pinnacle of the Hajj pilgrimage, as pilgrims engage in the significant ritual of Waqoof-e-Arafat, the standing at the Mount of Arafat, known as the Rukn-e-Azam of Hajj.
In a momentous occasion, Sheikh Dr. Yusuf bin Muhammad bin Saeed delivered a powerful Hajj sermon at Masjid-e-Nimra in Maidan-e-Arafat, emphasizing the importance of unity within the Muslim Ummah. In his address, he underscored the obligatory nature of respecting and valuing humanity for all Muslims.
With a resolute voice, Sheikh Dr. Yusuf bin Muhammad bin Saeed called upon the gathered pilgrims to recognize the significance of unity among Muslims. He stressed that it is through unity that the Muslim Ummah can strengthen its bonds, overcome challenges, and collectively strive for peace and prosperity.
The esteemed Sheikh emphasized the fundamental principle of Islam, which mandates the utmost respect and value for humanity. Regardless of individual backgrounds, nationalities, or races, every Muslim is obliged to uphold the dignity and rights of all human beings. Sheikh Dr. Yusuf bin Muhammad bin Saeed reminded the faithful that embracing this responsibility is a cornerstone of Islamic teachings and an integral part of their Hajj journey.
The Hujjaj offered Zuhr and Asr prayers together. They will stay at Arafat spending the whole day in supplication praying for welfare of Ummah.
Then they will leave for Muzdalifah where they will offer Maghrib and Isha prayers together and spend the night under open sky.
