Several British universities have recently introduced free scholarships for male and female students from Pakistan. These scholarships provide an opportunity for Pakistani students to pursue higher education in the United Kingdom.
In an exclusive interview with private TV, Pawan Dhande, the Director of Communication and Public Diplomacy at the British High Commission in Islamabad, disclosed the availability of these scholarships. He highlighted that the aim is to further strengthen bilateral relations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom, especially considering the significant contributions made by the 1.6 million people of Pakistani heritage in all aspects of UK life, including senior leadership roles.
During his visit to Karachi, Pawan Dhande expressed his observations on the city’s rapid progress. He acknowledged the growth and development happening in various parts of the megacity.
Pawan Dhande, who recently assumed the role at the British High Commission in Islamabad, took over from Fouzia Younis, who has been appointed as the British Consul General in Toronto.
These free scholarships offered by British universities present a valuable opportunity for Pakistani students to access quality education in the UK, fostering educational and cultural exchanges between the two nations. The move further strengthens the close ties between Pakistan and the UK, promoting mutual understanding and collaboration in various fields.
