The Election Commission of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has officially announced the schedule for the upcoming elections of three national sports federations, to be held on June 20 at the PSB Coaching Centre on Ferozepur Road, Lahore.

According to the press release issued Wednesday, the election timings are as follows:

  • Alpine Club of Pakistan – 10:00 AM

  • Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation – 2:30 PM

  • Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation – 4:00 PM

As per the official notification, the election day will begin with the Alpine Club of Pakistan at 10:00 AM, followed by the Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation elections at 2:30 PM, and the Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation elections concluding the day at 4:00 PM. The entire process will be broadcast live to ensure transparency and fairness.

The commission has laid out a detailed timeline for the election process. All nomination papers, voter lists, and objections must be submitted to the PSB headquarters in Islamabad by June 12. Scrutiny of the nomination papers will be conducted on the same day between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, with provisional lists of voters and candidates to be published by 2:00 PM.

Stakeholders will have until 10:00 AM on June 13 to file objections regarding the nominations, and the final decisions on these objections will be announced by 12:00 PM. The final lists of voters and candidates will be issued by 3:00 PM that same day.

Importantly, the Election Commission has announced that no travel or daily allowances (TA/DA) will be provided to any candidate or voter. It also emphasized that no documents submitted after the deadline will be accepted under any circumstances.

The schedule has been signed by Chief Election Commissioner Waseem Majeed Malik, along with commission members Babar Sohail and Zohaib Hassan Gondal. The commission has urged all participants to strictly adhere to the given schedule to ensure a smooth and transparent electoral process.
