Prime Minister Shehbaz Inaugurates PM’s Digital Youth Hub Portal

With a vision to empower and uplift the nation’s youth, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif officially launched the Prime Minister’s Digital Youth Hub Portal on Thursday. This cutting-edge platform aims to consolidate all government programs and initiatives dedicated to the holistic development of young individuals.

Addressing the ceremony, the prime minister extended his heartiest congratulations to the youth on the introduction of this transformative facility. He expressed his commitment to expanding youth programs throughout the country and emphasized that the government would leave no stone unturned to empower the young generation.

PM Shehbaz Sharif underlined the significance of inclusivity, stressing that resources and opportunities would be made accessible to all youngsters. The portal opens doors to various facilities, including laptops and funding initiatives, irrespective of the educational institution they attend.

For the current fiscal year, the incumbent government has allocated a substantial budget of Rs 80 billion for youth development initiatives, showcasing its unwavering dedication to the nation’s future.

During the event, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude towards Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Lt General Senator Abdul Qayyum, vice-chancellors, and members of the Youth Parliament for their commendable efforts in elevating the youth of the country.

Shaza Fatima Khawaja, said the Digital Youth Hub was the culmination of all of the prime minister’s initiatives for the youth he had taken during last few months which were actually the manifestation of Shehbaz Speed.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif assured the participants that his commitment to empowering the youth and elevating Pakistan to new heights would persist. With the integration of various programs and schemes across the nation, the Digital Youth Hub Portal represents a pivotal step towards a brighter and prosperous future for the young generation.

Some important Points You should know about the Youth Portal

  • Digital Youth Hub portal is to provide integrated and one-stop guidance on the youth-related initiatives launched by the government.
  • Youth Program across the country like laptops and business loans were being disbursed across the country through this program.
  • Rs 30 billion had already been disbursed by the banks to youth in the form of business loans.
  •  

    Rs 80 billion had been specified for youth-related initiatives including IT programs, freelancing, IT incubators and others, besides another Rs 5 billion allocated for sports projects.

  • Funding initiatives will be provided to  high achievers of the public sector universities.
  • Youngsters can register themselves at the portal to avail the available facilities.
