Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan Retain Spots in Latest ICC T20I Rankings

Pakistan’s batting stars Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have maintained their fourth and fifth positions in the updated ICC T20I rankings. Babar holds a rating of 755, while Rizwan has 746. Australia’s Travis Head leads the rankings, with India’s Suryakumar Yadav in second place.

In previous Indian performances against Zimbabwe led to notable ranking improvements. Shubman Gill climbed 36 places to 37th, surpassing Rohit Sharma (42nd) and retired Virat Kohli (51st). Zimbabwe’s Blessing Muzarabani moved up 11 spots to 44th among bowlers, while India’s Washington Sundar and Mukesh Kumar also rose in the rankings.

In Test rankings, England players made significant gains following their victory over the West Indies. Harry Brook advanced to seventh, Zak Crawley to 13th, and Ollie Pope to 29th. Debutants Jamie Smith and Gus Atkinson also entered the rankings at 75th and 52nd, respectively.
