The Argentinean government has proposed a $664 million allocation in its budget for the year 2022 presented before the national parliament to buy fighter jets.
Talking to the reporter, sources said that we supposed that the Argentinean government is planning to acquire 12 JF-17A Block-III fighters from Pakistan. An international report is also confirming the story that the Government of Argentina aside $664 million in funding for the purchase of F17 fighter aircraft.
Meanwhile another source told the reporter, that the proposal for allocation does not mean that the deal has been decided. Because there is no contract yet signed between the two countries. JF-17 Thunder is an advanced, light-weight, all-weather, day/night multi-role fighter aircraft, developed as a joint venture between the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC), Kamra, and the Chengdu Aircraft Industry Corporation of China.
