Pakistan has been elected as a member of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) for the term 2024-2026, in the election held on 8 June 2023 at the UN Headquarters in New York. A student from Sindh has become the first from the province to conquer Mount Everest, the world’s highest mountain. Asad Ali Memon who studies in the Institute of Business Management (IoBM).
