Peshawar’s Israr Khattak triumphed within the moment version of the Karachi Marathon, wrapping up the World Athletics-accredited occasion in an remarkable two hours, 29 minutes, and 58 seconds here on Sunday

The occasion highlighted different categories, counting a 42.2-kilometer full marathon, a 21.1-kilometer half marathon, and a five-kilometer fun race.

The occasion pulled in runners from over Pakistan and worldwide members hailing from nations counting the Joined together States, Poland, Japan, Germany, and Australia making it Pakistan’s biggest marathon occasion, which invited both prepared professionals and excited amateurs.

In the complete marathon, Mohammad Riaz from Bahawalpur wrapped up moment with a time of two hours, 32 minutes, and 10 seconds.

The half marathon saw Mohammad Akhtar of Sahiwal taking to begin with put with a time of an hour, 12 minutes, and eight seconds, taken after by Sialkot’s Mohammad Qasim and Mohammad Usman from Attock in moment and third positions, respectively.

In the women’s half marathon, Mumtaz Naimat from Gilgit risen as the victor, clocking in at one hour, 43 minutes.

According to Sports in Pakistan, one of the coordinators of the occasion, the marathon’s certification by the World Rankings Competition guaranteed a world-class encounter for all participants.

First-time members, such as Mustansar Bandooqwala, a explorer turned runner, and 66-year-old Mazhar Valjee, lauded the occasion for its positive affect on Karachi, whereas 72-year-old Feroz Rizvi, the most seasoned runner within the occasion, completed the half marathon to raise stores for charity.
