Pakistan boys volleyball team has booked a spot in the finals of the Asian Youth Games after a dominant 3-1 victory over Indonesia, ensuring the nation another medal in the prestigious event. The match began with Indonesia taking control of the first set, winning 25-22. However, Pakistan quickly regrouped and delivered a powerful comeback, claiming the next two sets 25-13 and 25-19 with exceptional teamwork and precision. In the fourth set, both sides fought fiercely, but Pakistan held their nerve to edge out Indonesia 26-24 and seal the win.

With this victory, Pakistan advances to the final where they will face Iran on Thursday at 7 pm local time, which corresponds to 8 pm Pakistan Standard Time. The final promises to be a thrilling contest as both teams aim for the gold medal.

Earlier in the tournament, Pakistan showcased their dominance right from the start. They began their campaign with a straight-sets victory over Mongolia and then overpowered hosts Bahrain 3-0 in their Group A match. Continuing their stellar performance, Pakistan defeated Uzbekistan in similar style during their first Group E match of the 1-8 Classification Round.

In the quarter-finals, Pakistan outclassed China with a clean 3-0 sweep, recording set scores of 25-12, 25-13, and 25-17. The Green Shirts carried that momentum into the semi-finals, where they overcame Saudi Arabia 3-1 with scores of 25-16, 25-21, 23-25, and 26-24, finishing at the top of their group.

Throughout the tournament, players like Khizar Hayat, Mohammad Yahya, and Mohammad Anas have been instrumental in Pakistan’s success. Their consistent performances, combined with strong team coordination and determination, have been the backbone of the team’s unbeaten streak.

This impressive performance not only highlights Pakistan’s growing strength in youth volleyball but also marks a proud moment for the country as the team guarantees a place on the podium. With the final against Iran ahead, the Green Shirts have a golden opportunity to cap off their flawless run with a championship victory and bring home the gold for Pakistan.
