In a thrilling display of football prowess, Pakistani youth teams have reached the semi-finals of the Norway Cup 2024. The U15 team from Better Future and the U17 side from Muslim Hands FC have both advanced, showcasing impressive performances in their respective competitions.
The Pakistan Street Child Football Team secured a last-minute 3-2 victory over Germany’s JSG Leintal. Mohammad Kashif scored twice and Mohammad Junaid added another, sending waves of celebration through the Pakistani community in Norway.
The U17 team will face Norway’s Forde IL in their semi-final later today, while the U15 Better Future Pakistan team will go up against Norway’s Varegg Fotball 1. Better Future dominated their quarter-final with a 3-0 win, thanks to goals from Subhan Karim and Shahbaz Ali.
It’s noteworthy that last year, Muslim Hands FC came agonizingly close to victory, losing the final on penalties despite an undefeated run through the tournament. With 28 goals scored and only three conceded, the team demonstrated their ability to win both convincingly and consistently.
