In a major choice, the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has presented a modern cash grant approach for gifted medal-winning competitors, settling profitable prize cash from Olympic Recreations to national events.

The official notice in this respect issued on Tuesday expressed that PSB’s 31st Board assembly held on Dec 4, endorsed a modern cash grant approach, beneath which Rs10 million will be given to an competitor for winning an Olympic gold award, Rs7.5 million for silver and Rs5 million for bronze.

Similarly, Rs7.5 million will be given to a player for a gold medal-winning accomplishment at the Asian Diversions, Rs5 million for silver and Rs3 million for seizing a bronze at the mainland extravaganza.

Moreover, Rs5 million will be given as prize cash for winning gold award within the Commonwealth Diversions and the Islamic Solidarity Diversions, Rs3 million and Rs2 million for clinching silver and bronze awards, individually, in these games.

For the Asian Indoor and Military Expressions Diversions Rs2 million will be given to an competitor for a gold decoration, Rs1 million for silver and Rs0.5 million for bronze whereas a hopeful of the South Asian Recreations will merit a cash prize of Rs1 million for winning a gold, Rs0.75 million for silver and Rs0.5 million for bronze.

According to the modern approach, a member at the Summer Youth Olympics and the Winter Youth Olympics will get Rs5 million for gold, Rs3 million for silver and Rs2 million for bronze.

It was too included within the approach that Rs2 million will be given for fixing a gold, Rs1 million for silver and Rs0.5 million for bronze within the Asian Youth Diversions and the Commonwealth Youth Games.

A satchel of Rs5 million will be given for getting gold, Rs3 million for silver and Rs2 million for bronze in a World Championship and World Glasses held every year, it was announced.

Similarly, Rs2 million, Rs1 million and Rs0.5 million will be given to gold, silver and bronze medallists of an Asian championship whereas Rs0.5 million, Rs0.25 million and Rs0.1 million will be given to gold, silver and bronze victors of a South Asian championship, respectively.

According to the official arrangement, Rs5 million will be given to gold, Rs3 million to silver and Rs2 million to bronze medallists of a junior world championship and world cup.

Similarly, gold, silver and bronze victors of a junior Asian championship will take Rs2 million, Rs1 million and Rs0.5 million, respectively

Rs1 million, Rs0.75 million and Rs0.5 million will be given to gold, silver and bronze victors of the Junior Commonwealth Championship.

A cash prize of Rs0.5 million will be given to a gold medallist of the Junior South Asian Championship, Rs0.25 million to a silver champ and Rs0.1 million to a bronze winner.

The recently informed approach said that Rs10 million will be given for winning gold in summer and winter Paralympic Diversions and Rs7.5 million for silver and Rs5 million for bronze.

While, for Asian Para Diversions, Rs7.5 million will be given to a gold medallist, Rs5 million for silver and Rs3 million for bronze. Sums of Rs5 million (gold),Rs3 million (silver) and Rs2 million (bronze) will be given to the members of the Commonwealth and Islamic Solidarity Diversions (para athletes).

For world championship and world glass held after each one year by Universal Paralympic Committee Rs5 million will be given for gold, Rs3 million for silver and Rs2 million for bronze.

The para competitors will be given Rs2 million for gold, Rs1 million for silver and Rs0.5 million for bronze within the Asian Championship sorted out by the Asian Paralympic Committee.

Rs1 million (gold), Rs0.75 million (silver) and Rs0.5 million were settled as prize cash for the Junior world championship and world mugs. Whereas, Rs0.5 million (gold), Rs0.25 million (silver) and Rs0.1 million (bronze) will be given to the medallists of the Junior Asian Championship organized by the Asian Paralympic Committee.

The modern approach too reported prize cash for the decoration victors of the Uncommon Olympic World Recreations, IBSA World Diversions, Deaflympics, world championship and world mugs which are composed by the Worldwide Committee of Sports for the Deaf.

The modern arrangement too expressed said that Rs1 million, Rs0.5 million and Rs0.25 million will be granted to each gold, silver and bronze victor of the National Diversions and the Quaid-e-Azam Games.

Moreover, Rs0.5 million will be given to each group part for winning gold, Rs0.25 million for taking silver and Rs0.1 million for claiming bronze within the National Diversions and the Quaid-e-Azam group occasions.
