Pak Suzuki Motor Company has always been at the forefront of affordable cars in the Pakistani market where the country is witnessing significant drop in vehicle sales due to inflations, hike in dollar price and political instability, Pak Suzuki Motor Company has emerged as the largest car manufacturer.
Pak Suzuki Company has produced 25 lakh vehicles in Pakistan in the last 40 years. In mall car Mehran vehicle till 2019 and after that Alto has played a very important role in this success of the company. Meanwhile, the company’s other vehicles like Cultus , Bolan, WagonR etc. have also set new sales records.
Earlier this month, the company has announced, third price increase it has made within the span of a month with the previous two upwards revisions being made on January 24 and and February 8. The current increase will come into effect immediately as of February 20. In its statement the company’s spokesperson said that “due to recent increase in electricity, gas, GST, different utilities and overhead expenses, currency fluctuation, economic uncertainties, too much increase in local and international raw material parts & accessories cost. So, keeping in view this big adverse impact, we are passing a very minimal portion through this price increase,”.
After this announcement, the company saw a 74% month-on-month (MoM) reduction in its sales volume due to price hike.
