Pakistan’s Women secured their semi-final spot by defeating the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 10 wickets in a must-win match. Chasing a target of 104 runs, openers Gull Feroza and Muneeba Ali led Pakistan to victory in 14.1 overs without losing a wicket. Feroza scored 62 off 55 balls, and Muneeba contributed 37 off 30 deliveries. This win marks Pakistan as the first team to achieve a 10-wicket victory in the history of the Women’s T20 Asia Cup.
The UAE struggled with the bat, losing wickets regularly. Esha Oza and Theertha Satish were the top scorers for the UAE, with 16 and 40 runs, respectively. Pakistan’s bowlers Sadia Iqbal, Nashra Sandhu, and Tuba Hassan took two wickets each, while skipper Nida Dar claimed one wicket.
