The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has authoritatively named Saud Shakeel as the captain of an 18-member Pakistan Shaheens squad for the up and coming visit of Britain, planned from July 17 to Admirable 6, where the group will play two three-day matches and three 50-over fixtures.

The Shaheens, serving as Pakistan’s men’s group, were finally seen in action prior this year against Bangladesh in Dubai. This visit is seen as a vital step in preparing future worldwide ability and giving high-performing residential players universal exposure.

Saud Shakeel, as of now capped at the Test level, will be joined by individual Test players Mir Hamza, Musa Khan, and Sajid Khan, giving a solid blend of encounter and developing talent.

The squad highlights a promising batting lineup, with Azan Awais and Maaz Sadaqat, the beat run-scorers of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy 2024-25, gaining determination. Other eminent names incorporate Ali Zaryab, Haider Ali, Mohammad Suleman, Omair Container Yousuf, and Shamyl Hussain. Rohail Nazir will handle wicket-keeping duties.
